Supermarket Screening Programmes

A screening programme is offered in the Corporate Area supermarkets, banks and other business places, and has proved popular with members of the public.

This is an important programme as it has the potential to detect hypertension in persons who may not usually visit their medical facility for a check up.

The Heart Foundation of Jamaica is present on a regular basis in several supermarkets in the corporate area and St. Catherine.

Tests done at these locations include:

  Blood Pressure Screening Programme
  Cholesterol Screening Programme
  Blood Sugar Screening Programme
  Haemoglobin
