Paediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) Courses
This course is available to health professionals only (Doctors, Registered Nurses, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and other allied health professionals. Advanced training in Paediatric Life Support is offered to personnel working in Medical Areas such as Accident & Emergency, Intensive Care, Operating Theatre and Ambulance Services.
Presently this course is held once per year. It is a very intensive course and it is advisable to have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate prior to attending the PALS Course. The cost of the course is J$15, 000.00 and this includes PALS manual, lunches and coffee breaks and American Heart Association Certification.
