OVERVIEW

In 2006, the budget was J$ 40M. The accounts of The Foundation are audited annually by BDO Jamaica and
are presented at the Annual General Meeting held in November.

The Heart Foundation generates income from five fundraising events held annually.

   These events are:
     - Vic Higgs Memorial Golf Tournament (March)
     - BBQ (June)
     - Benefit Performance of the National Dance Theatre Company (August)
     - Wine & Food Festival (September)
     - Heart Health Fund Run (November)

Income is also generated from donations, memoriams, membership subscriptions and sponsorships.
A subsidized fee is charged for all the medical services offered to offset administrative expenses.

The Heart Foundation of Jamaica became the charity partner for "Reggae Marathon" in 2004. We are sure that
through this event the awareness about the value of physical activity will be increased. It is hoped that funds
will also be generated for the Foundation from this event.

Overseas assistance is received from a group in London, England called "The Friends of The Heart Foundation
(UK) Limited". This group holds fundraising events from time to time and sends us medical supplies with the
   proceeds.
